Our trusted client is seeking an interim Tax Manager consultant for a long-term engagement. The successful candidate will be accountable for handling all tax filings, stock vesting, and payroll-related tax matters for our team. This hybrid role is located in Ann Arbor Michigan and will report directly to the Director of HR and Payroll. The day-to-day responsibilities include: • Oversee and manage all tax fillings, including w2/W4 forms for federal and state.• Handle issues related to tax filings for a significant number of employees, managing large sums of tax dollars.• Collaborate closely with the payroll team, providing guidance and support as necessary.• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations.• Utilize accounting software systems to process and track tax-related activities.• Manage the annual income tax provision and auditing process.• Oversee entity formation processes.• Monitor and manage stock vesting matters.• Drive the sense of urgency and attention to detail within the team, especially during tax filing periods.
