We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in Middletown, Delaware. As a Tax Manager, you will be involved in various aspects of tax management, including customer interactions, tax database management, tax strategy application, and financial statement preparation. This role is deeply entrenched in the financial services industry and requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the preparation and review of business and personal tax returns
- Oversee bookkeeping and payroll tax returns
- Regularly update and organize the tax database
- Record tax entries into various accounting software systems
- Apply tax reduction strategies effectively
- Prepare tax projections on a consistent basis
- Communicate proactively with clients to address their queries and concerns
- Participate in and prepare for client meetings on a quarterly and monthly basis
- Review and prepare financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax codes, rules, regulations, and forms
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as Tax Manager
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
- Experience in using CaseWare
- Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Experience in Annual Income Tax Provision
- Auditing skills
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards
- Familiarity with Entity Formation
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online
- Experience in Benefits Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Knowledge of Internal Control and Internal Control Review
- Proficiency in using Ultra Tax
- Familiarity with Fixed Asset Accounting
