We have an opportunity for a Title Clerk in the automotive industry, located in Northern Ohio. As a Title Clerk, your main role will be to process customer applications, maintain customer records, and handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner.
Responsibilities :
- Handling and processing retail and lease titles for customers.
- Keeping track of out-of-state customer titles, ensuring to log and follow up.
- Efficiently processing resale titles.
- Generating checks for title batches, registrations, and license plates.
- Organizing and filing paperwork related to retail and lease deals.
- Updating title status and comments in the relevant DMS.
- Issuing refund checks to customers as and when required.
- Reconciling assigned accounts.
- Undertaking other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Proficient in using CRM software
- Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls
- Proven ability in check processing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge and experience in handling Title Commitment
- Proficient typing skills
