The Title IX & DHR Case Manager / Investigator is fundamental to the University’s equity, inclusion and compliance efforts. Reporting to the Equity Programs & Compliance Executive Director (Title IX Coordinator / DHR Administrator), the Title IX & DHR Case Manager / Investigator will provide administrative and investigative support to the Title IX Coordinator / DHR Administrator regarding confidential, sensitive and complex matters.
Note : While this role is fully remote, the university highly prefers someone local to the Bay Area / Northern California so they can visit the campus for interviews and meetings once hired.
Responsibilities :
- Case Management & Investigations : Manages and prioritizes Title IX and DHR cases, conducts fair and impartial investigations, and ensures compliance with university policies and CSU Executive Orders.
- Interviewing & Reporting : Conducts interviews with parties and witnesses, gathers evidence, and prepares detailed investigation reports with findings.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping : Maintains accurate records, ensures compliance with federal and state reporting mandates, and assists in statistical reporting.
- Campus Engagement : Collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to foster a safe and inclusive environment.
- Training & Prevention : Assists in developing and delivering training on Title IX, discrimination, harassment, and related policies.
- Policy Enforcement & Resolution : Supports informal resolutions when appropriate and identifies systemic issues to improve campus policies and practices.
