In-House Defense Attorney

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented No-Fault Insurance Defense Attorney to join a prominent and growing insurance company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of no-fault insurance defense files.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to no-fault insurance law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent the company in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Evaluate claim validity and develop defense strategies.
• Communicate effectively with claims adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state no-fault insurance laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Insurance coverage

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Michigan Bar.
• Experience in no-fault insurance defense is preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
