In-House Defense Attorney
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented No-Fault Insurance Defense Attorney to join a prominent and growing insurance company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of no-fault insurance defense files.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to no-fault insurance law.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
- Evaluate claim validity and develop defense strategies.
- Communicate effectively with claims adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state no-fault insurance laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Michigan Bar.
- Experience in no-fault insurance defense is preferred.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary : $115,000 - $175,000
