Work with 3 experienced, pleasant administrative staff members. Our office is easily accessible via the Atlantic City Expressway or the Garden State Parkway.
Our current administrative staff has 2 members who have been here over 6 years and another member at 3 years.
This is a full time position at our outpatient psychotherapy and counseling practice that has been in existence for over 40 years. This is a full time position, working Monday through Friday. 8am-4pm
Summary
We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at Affiliates in Psychotherapy. Located in Northfield, NJ, this role is vital for ensuring smooth office operations and providing exceptional support to both clients and staff. Even if you are smart, you will find this job challenging.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to keep client records up-to-date.
- There will be meetings with the Psychologist, but mostly with the office manager and administrative staff.
- Provide administrative support to psychotherapists as needed.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times.
- The are approximately 12 CPT codes utilizes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus but not required.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Strong communication skills for effective client engagement.
- Like working with a team of experienced employees.
- Must have a pleasant personality and like working on projects alone, or with skilled co-workers.
- Experienced with excel and word.
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Reliable transportation
