Robert R. Keller & Associates Inc., which provides business services to a manufacturing group of more than 400 employees is hiring for a Payroll Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and record personnel records of newly hired workers, including names, rates of pay, and occupations.
- Maintain accurate records of changes in wage rates and employee occupations.
- Assist with computing pay according to company policy, reviewing and approving payroll deductions, and ensuring payroll accuracy.
- Compile and prepare other payroll data, such as 401(k) contributions, insurance payments, and certified payroll reports.
- Research and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Prepare government reports and handle monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax filings.
- Assist in year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation.
- Create, review, and update all reporting needs within our payroll reporting software (BI Analytics).
- Strategize, plan, and assist in implementing projects to enhance day-to-day operations of the payroll department and the company as a whole.
- Participate in cross-training to handle various departmental duties.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Accounting preferred, with at least 2 years of payroll experience with a strong understanding of federal and multi-state payroll regulations.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to evaluate situations and determine the best course of action to solve issues.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of UKG Pro and BI Analytics, & E-Verify preferred.
- Other: High level of confidentiality and integrity.
