SUMMARY:
Responsibilities consist of optimizing inventory fitness and accuracy by evaluating, analyzing and adjusting current inventory information, propose actions for slow moving and obsolete inventory, investigate root causes for inventory discrepancies and work with cross functional teams to analyze and reduce inventory write offs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Individual will be involved with daily & monthly inventory control with cycle-count activity, analysis of inventory discrepancies and write offs, and any monitoring and/or auditing that needs to be completed relative to inventory control.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly reports and coordinate obsolete and slow-moving inventory discussions
- Commitment to Robertet and SQF Quality Standards and continuous improvement of the quality management systems.
COMPETENCIES:
- Thorough understanding of inventory systems.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to help make decisions
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Must possess knowledge of or have the ability to learn inventory systems.
- Must be an excellent communicator and cross functional team member.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High School with Strong Manufacturing Experience & Supervisory Skills
Preferred:
College Degree with some Manufacturing Experience and Supervisory skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office work environment. May share an office or work out of a cubicle. May have to transport through a warehouse environment to attend meetings or meet with other employees. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office work environment. Ability to sit for long periods of time conducting computer work and walk throughout the facility to attend meetings.
