We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Service Sales Executive to drive business growth and deliver exceptional service solutions to our commercial and industrial clients. This role focuses on identifying client needs, building long-term relationships, and providing tailored HVAC service and maintenance solutions, with a keen eye for contract management, sales strategy, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, strong relationship-building skills, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Sales Strategy and Client Acquisition
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with commercial clients, understanding their HVAC needs and offering tailored service solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess client requirements and recommend maintenance, repair, or upgrade options for HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring clear communication of services, costs, and timelines.
- Account Management and Retention
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, conducting regular check-ins and follow-ups to ensure service satisfaction and address any evolving needs.
- Oversee contract renewals, adjustments, and upselling opportunities to increase client lifetime value.
- Monitor project deliverables and coordinate with service teams to ensure service excellence, timely issue resolution, and high customer satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Manage documentation of contracts, RFIs, transmittals, and change orders, maintaining accurate client records for seamless service delivery.
- Track and report on project performance metrics, including sales targets, scope changes, cost, and quality.
- Resource Coordination and Planning
- Collaborate with the service team and subcontractors to align on resource allocation, equipment requirements, and scheduling.
- Identify any resource adjustments needed to meet client expectations efficiently and effectively.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in HVAC service sales or a related field, with a focus on client management and project oversight.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, chiller, and boiler systems; familiarity with industry standards and service best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools including BuildOps, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and the ability to utilize digital tools for project tracking and client communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-first approach.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an eye for identifying sales opportunities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Professional, energetic, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
