Finance Analyst III

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join our client.

Contract Dates: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $55.46 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)


Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare regulatory reports and/or advanced general finance / accounting or related operational support as assigned.
• Analyze report results against thresholds and reconcile variances and/or research and explain findings / issues to department or business management.
• Coordinate and/or execute on internal and external finance / research projects, audits and/or reporting processes as directed - Including but not limited to updating procedures and other governance documentation specific to Regulatory Reporting processes.
• Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline.
• Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
• Keep others informed and up to date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
• Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate.
• Identifies key operational / reporting / process issues for own area.
• Provides thorough analysis and/or specialized reporting or operational/process support.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Experience as a Finance Analyst: 5 years
• Compliance/Regulatory Experience: 5 years
• Strong Excel (Pivot, Look ups)
• Regulatory guides
• Manipulate large Data sets
