Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare regulatory reports and/or advanced general finance / accounting or related operational support as assigned.
- Analyze report results against thresholds and reconcile variances and/or research and explain findings / issues to department or business management.
- Coordinate and/or execute on internal and external finance / research projects, audits and/or reporting processes as directed - Including but not limited to updating procedures and other governance documentation specific to Regulatory Reporting processes.
- Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline.
- Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Keep others informed and up to date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
- Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate.
- Identifies key operational / reporting / process issues for own area.
- Provides thorough analysis and/or specialized reporting or operational/process support.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Experience as a Finance Analyst: 5 years
- Compliance/Regulatory Experience: 5 years
- Strong Excel (Pivot, Look ups)
- Regulatory guides
- Manipulate large Data sets
Personal Attributes:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
