Their Corporate Banking division supports a diverse portfolio of mid-market, large corporate, and key account clients, offering strategic lending and risk management solutions. This division is expanding to meet the increasing demand for tailored financial solutions.
What you will achieve in this role:
- Conduct thorough credit assessments for corporate clients across various industries, structuring loan facilities and collateral arrangements.
- Prepare financial spreads, credit applications, ratings, and periodic reviews while ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review and evaluate loan documentation under U.S. and international legal frameworks, collaborating with legal counsel as needed.
- Analyze potential risks in complex financing structures and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and monitor credit portfolios, identifying early warning signs of financial distress and recommending proactive solutions.
- Prepare reports for risk committees and management, ensuring adherence to established credit review protocols.
- Collaborate with global risk management teams and relationship managers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of credit risk policies and procedures.
What you must bring to this role:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate credit risk management, within a banking environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Must have hands-on experience with financial statement analysis skills, with proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS.
- Must have familiarity with U.S. and international banking regulations.
- Needs to be able to manage multiple transactions while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator with report-writing skills to present credit findings effectively.
- Must be fluent in English, proficiency in German or Spanish is considered an asset.
- Bring advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools.
