Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team at Robertson's Ready Mix. This position is vital in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our equipment and systems, contributing directly to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment used in concrete production.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical knowledge to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Assist in network installations and maintain low voltage systems as required.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Document service activities accurately for reporting purposes.
- Provide exceptional service to internal teams, ensuring minimal downtime during repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience as a service technician or similar role within the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and low voltage applications.
- Ability to work with hand tools effectively and safely.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- 5 or more years of experience is a huge plus
- Knowledge of Cummins Insite
- Fuel systems, TSX 12 AND L9
- Emissions systems
- Technical/trade school preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
