What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fixed Asset Accountant position at ROBINS FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION?
What You’ll Do:
- Reconcile and maintain corporate settlement accounts and ACH general ledger (GL) transactions.
- Manage fixed assets and prepaid subsidiaries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Oversee and track inventory of all credit union property.
- Post check requests as needed.
- Reconcile selected general ledger accounts with precision.
- Prepare and file annual county and city property tax returns for all branches and department locations.
- Serve as a backup for generating checks and ACH payments for Accounts Payable.
- Provide support to the General Ledger Accountant and assist with other departmental functions when required.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
