What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Administrator position at ROBINS FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION?
This position will be primarily in-office and located in Warner Robins, GA.
What You’ll Do:
- Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, controls, and ensure compliance with NCUA and FFIEC regulations.
- Vulnerability Management: Continuously update and manage vulnerability management tools to protect against emerging threats.
- Security Monitoring & Improvement: Regularly monitor security practices, investigate areas of concern, and recommend, plan, implement, test, and track improvements in information security.
- Security Solutions Management: Manage security solutions, including web monitoring, log correlation, virus protection, incident response, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Penetration Testing: Serve as the primary IT contact for both internal and external penetration tests, providing guidance, performing corrective actions, and representing IT during external tests.
- Threat Monitoring: Proactively monitor security threats and assess potential risks.
- Audit Documentation: Maintain and update all necessary documents for NCUA and DBF audits, including ACET reports.
- Security Standards & Access Control: Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platform environments. Ensure the protection of network access from unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction.
- User Training: Provide training and guidance to users on information security protocols and best practices.
- Security Expertise: Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and solutions in the security field.
- Auditor Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and address any identified issues.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and participate in the development, testing, and implementation of network security projects to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Documentation & Cross-Training: Document all security systems and procedures and participate in cross-training initiatives within the IT team on security products and solutions.
- Continuous Development: Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay informed about industry advancements.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by contributing to team efforts with initiative, dependability, and professionalism.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
