Role And Responsibilities
- Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated
- Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry
- Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools
- Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Must work well with others
- Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 90 lbs.
- Ability to Stand for 10 hours
- Ensure and verify material
- Provide immediate feedback when problems occur
- Ability to work OT with little notice when required.
- A technical degree is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Must be willing to assist in other areas when needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check & amp; a fit for duty physical assessment.
- Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools.
- Ability to read basic blueprints.
- Possesses productivity/time management skills

- Knowledge/experience with blueprints
- Has a knowledge of hand tools and can operate a variety of forklifts.
- Ability to interpret and follow an extensive variety of instructions and work orders, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
