What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney position at Robl & Bowen, LLC?
Robl & Bowen LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience handling commercial litigation matters and be eager to further develop their litigation skills. Experience with creditor / debtor litigation and / or bankruptcy experience is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, fraud, and other business-related disputes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Manage case files from inception through resolution.
- Assist in business development efforts, including networking and client outreach.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
- 2 years of commercial litigation experience.
- Experience with creditor / debtor litigation is preferred.
- Experience with bankruptcy, including chapter 7 and / or chapter 11 bankruptcies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
