You will do this by coordinating the activities between our prospecting research team, marketing department, and project sales team to ensure a smooth sales journey from lead generation to signed deal.
More than simple gatekeeping, this role requires you to use your smarts to facilitate and prioritize requests and show the ambition to assume new responsibilities.
In a given day you will:
- Coordinate activities between research, marketing, operations, customer service and sales to streamline sales activities and maximize deal flow.
- Manage the flow of project sales opportunities released to the sales team to ensure it remains full and active.
- Coordinate and schedule resources for sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Enter task, call and appointment-outcome data into our CRM to assist opportunity management and reporting.
- Attend Work-In-Progress (WIP) meetings and hold daily one-on-one meetings with team members to check process integrity and compliance.
You will be supported by a dedicated marketing and research team that will give you a steady supply of project leads and an efficient customer service and sales team who will handle selling, quoting, orders and post-delivery logistic questions on your behalf.
Ongoing product training and support will be given.
Skills and experience needed
Ideally, you will have project management and/or commercial project sales experience and the intuitiveness to quickly pick up our product portfolio. Prior experience in a related field in the electrical products industry will be viewed favourably.
You must be comfortable with a lot of things going on at any one time and able to communicate with a wide variety of people. Proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM/ERP application is a must-have.
