Experience Operating Molding Equipment And Changing Dies Preferred
Excellent time management skills with ability to appropriate prioritize

Must be reliable, demonstrated willingness to stay to get the job done.
Requires a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
Efficient, safe die changes
Good hand eye coordination
Solid math skills and measurement knowledge.
Familiar with differences between types of resin helpful, can learn on the job
Willing to do what it takes for the team to be successful.

Description

You will have a variety of responsibilities in this newly designed position including:
- Set and install molds/dies in compression presses using a die truck. You will complete hook-ups, settings and adjustments
- Responsible for leading the team to meet or exceed daily production goals, provide feedback to individuals, maintain a working relationship and follow company policies, resolve any processing issues as they arrive
- Closely work with shift team members to understand strengths and work with them to improve technical skills and productivity
- Train and coach associates to provide for a strong positive team environment
- Assign work to team members and lead the team to meet goals, budgets and quality levels
- Review orders and ensure presses are pre-heating to minimize downtime and die/mold change time
- Monitor mold room equipment
- Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment while promoting and reinforcing safety and security awareness
- Report and/or address any issues or work-related injuries, and participate in any investigations as required
- Perform minor modifications
- Complete quality check on parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Complete fresh start of new molds

Requirements Include
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo license and operate safely and effectively (stand up die truck)
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to others
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
- Experience with mold/die changing preferred
- Basic mechanical experience
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout
- Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing
- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
- Knowledge of molding equipment and experience changing dies preferred
