Job Title: Salesforce Developer (2-3 Years of Experience)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team as a Software Engineer III (Senior Salesforce Developer) in the Rochester, NY area. This role primarily focuses on the design, development, and implementation of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform (Ascend application). As a senior developer, you'll play a key role in optimizing business processes, enhancing customer engagement, and driving data-driven decisions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom solutions using Salesforce technologies, such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Lead the development and maintenance of custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages.
• Automate business processes through Salesforce Flows, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce features and third-party applications.
• Configure Experience Cloud sites and customize the user interface to enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate with educational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide support for API integration and troubleshooting within the Salesforce/Ascend environment.
• Deliver training and support to end-users on Salesforce/Ascend systems.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integrations, including the Marketing Cloud Connector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Salesforce Development experience, with a strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Apex.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex database queries.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience in developing Salesforce Flows to automate business processes.
• Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator).
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools such as Boomi and Salesforce Flows.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Hybrid work arrangement (mostly remote).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.15 - $45.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
