We are seeking a Requirements Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering principles, requirements analysis, and technical documentation. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure that system requirements are properly defined, documented, and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop system design and integration strategies for systems. Define system interfaces and ensure interoperability between subsystems. Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to ensure system requirements are met. Support system verification and validation activities, including test planning and execution.
Elicit, analyze, document, and manage system and software requirements. Work with stakeholders to define system capabilities and performance requirements. Develop requirements traceability matrices (RTM) to ensure coverage throughout the development lifecycle. Use tools such as DOORS, Jama, or other requirements management software to maintain requirement baselines. Support impact analysis of proposed changes to system requirements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and retain a CBP Background Investigation
- Experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or a related discipline.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalent
- Ability to create and interpret system diagrams, specifications, and interface control documents
Desired Qualifications:
- Active DHS Suitability, CBP Background Investigation and/or Top Secret Clearance
- Understanding of DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC)
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP/CSEP/ESEP) certification
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and system security engineering principles
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody)
