Position Summary
The Facilities Specialist at Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services (REVS) is responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and well-maintained environment throughout the hospital. This role includes restocking facilities-related items, assisting with laundry, coordinating with the inventory lead to maintain adequate supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the building, including the parking lot.
The Facilities Specialist also performs routine maintenance, reports major repair needs to the appropriate channels, ensures compliance with OSHA safety requirements, receives deliveries, and builds relationships with outside vendors to ensure they meet expectations. This individual must be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting the hospital's operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the hospital, including restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces, are clean, sanitized, and orderly.
- Exterior Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the building's exterior, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaped areas.
- Facilities Restocking: Restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, trash bags, snacks, and cleaning products to maintain readiness and functionality.
- Laundry Support: Assist with laundry tasks to ensure clean linens, towels, and other items are available for hospital use.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure facilities remain in optimal condition and address minor repair needs.
- Major Repairs Reporting: Identify and report major repair needs to the appropriate channels for resolution.
- OSHA Compliance: Work to ensure that all facilities adhere to OSHA safety requirements, promoting a safe environment for staff, clients, and patients.
- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with outside vendors to ensure they meet expectations and provide necessary services.
- Receiving Deliveries: Receive deliveries, verify accuracy, and ensure proper storage of incoming supplies.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the Inventory Lead to maintain an adequate stock of facilities-related items and reorder as needed.
- General Upkeep: Assist with various tasks to support the hospital's operations and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff.

Education and Experience
