What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Elementary Education Support Professional (ESP) - Temporary position at Rochester Public Schools?
- Working with students under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Monitoring students in the lunchroom and on the playground in all types of weather.
- Performs tasks within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the supervisor.
- Minimum requirement; 60 college semester credits and/or a two-year degree from an accredited college or university. Please include official transcript(s) with application.
- In lieu of college credits or degree, one can complete the Paraeducator Assessments. The passing scores in Minnesota are 65% and 70% .

- The test is available to applicants who are presented an official job offer from the Rochester Public School District.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with elementary age students.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.

- Regular, on-time attendance is required.
- Believes that all students can attain high levels of learning.

WORK SCHEDULE: 5.5 hours per day; 8:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Temporary through June 4, 2025
WORK CALENDAR: 180 duty days per year.
SALARY: $20.00 - $20.70 per hour
BENEFITS: Benefits available for regular positions working an average of 30 hours per week.
