POSITION: Part-time, 0.2 FTE, Spanish Immersion Teacher position - see additional information

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This teacher will be speaking in Spanish while instructing Grade K-5 students. Subjects with include Spanish and Latin American Studies.

SALARY: $50,525 - $91,753/annually (prorated based upon hire date)
Based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience.

REA Contract 2023-2025

QUALIFICATION: Current appropriate Minnesota teaching license required: Spanish, Social Studies
RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.

Qualifications:
Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
