    WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day; Monday - Friday; 7:00 a.m.- 3:45 p.m.

    CLASSIFICATION: Rochester Operations Professional Employees (ROPE); C-4-1; Non-Exempt

    SALARY RANGE: $58,947 - $68,928 (Prorated based on start date)

    Job Summary:
    • Works directly with our students in a variety of settings to address their individual academic and social and emotional needs and goals.
    • Assumes responsibility for implementation of individualized plans, goals, and strategies to support student academic and emotional success.
    • Collaborate with school and community partners to provide resources and programming to support student success.
    • Actively participate as a member of interdisciplinary teams for assigned or identified individuals.
    • Establishes, develops and maintains respectful relationships with individuals served.
    • Maintains on-site support to students and serves in a liaison role with staff.
    • Develops and expands community opportunities/relationships for our students that provide opportunities for increased success.
    • Assists individuals in accessing resources and support for success.
    • Plans and supports school programming to increase student engagement.
    • Effectively collaborate and network with school and community staff.
    • In collaboration with the school and community staff, plan and facilitate learning opportunities and resources to support student success.
    • Plan and support events, with duties to include general planning, registration, content and program development, outreach, and related tasks to support student success.
    • Develop resources and relationships with students, their family and natural supports and with school community members.
    • Assess students' skills, strengths and barriers for school success.
    • Scheduling and facilitating student and family meetings.
    • Implement Positive Behavior Support and programming for students and school.
    • Support participants in advocating for their rights, problem solving, conflict resolution, accessing resources, and learning skills to overcome barriers to contributing in their community.
    • Increase community awareness and understanding of service(s) provided, and of Life Works.
    • Performs other related duties as required.
