This is a Nurse Leadership position who reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Ideal candidates will have a desire to ensure resident and family satisfaction through exceptional customer service skills. Candidates must possess a current unencumbered PA Registered Nurse License and successfully complete the pre-employment process.

DUTIES INCLUDE :
New Admissions & Discharges
Ensure all needs of the new resident and family are metOversee to make sure all discharge processes are completedCompletes New Admission interview / checklistSupervision & Development of Nurses
Oversees the nurses working within the community, trains and teaches as needed to ensure quality professional nursesEnsures Neighborhood Nurses have all tools available and needed to provide quality home-like care and supports a ‘Resident Centered Care’ modelSupports the CNAs and Nurses to make sure the residents receive quality care, meal service, activities to have a meaningful life living at RMVClinical Responsibilities
Keep Infection Control logs and monitors progressFollow up on pharmaceutical recommendations and monitors medication errorsManages any wound or skin integrity issues within the CommunitySupports the Medical Director and ensures his recommendations or concerns are followed up onInvestigates any allegations of abuse, complaints, or narcotic concernsSupports, revises, or works to make sure Policies and Procedures are in place for best practices with the support of the Director of NursingWrites and meets on Care Plans one afternoon per week for residents within the CommunitySupervises Incoming & Outgoing Narcotic DrugsLeadership
Communicates timely to the Director of Nursing any concerns in compromised care concerns or complaintsServes as the lesion for Residents, Families, or visitors when there are concerns or complimentsSupports all team members working within the community to resolve conflict, develop standards, and create a positive professional place for the residents to live.Interview new team members for their communityAssistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications
Must have active RN license2 years experience in a nursing leadership position2 years experience in a long-term care setting, skilled nursing preferredRM V is an equal opportunity employer
