We're looking for an experienced and motivated Affordable Housing Manager to join our team!
Community Manager
Compensation : $45,000 - $54,000 / year (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages communications with residents and staff ensuring a harmonious and professional workplace environment.
- Collects rent payments, process billing, post payments, and deposit receipts according to company procedures (including handling Section 8 and other supplemental payments).
- Prepares required reports for Regional / Area Managers, Accounting, and other departments.
- Maintains accurate and compliant resident files for both internal and external audits.
- Completes move-out paperwork and manages security deposit processes, ensuring accurate data input into relevant software (e.g., Onesite).
- Conducts property tours, new resident orientation, move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
- Enforces lease agreements and community rules in accordance with Fair Housing laws.
- Walks property regularly to inspect conditions, exterior and interior.
- Prepares property for audits or regulatory inspections, ensuring adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations regarding multifamily housing.
