Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including real estate, business and construction law. This role involves representing clients in litigation processes, conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents. The successful candidate will be adept at negotiating settlements and navigating complex legal issues while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, particularly in Environmental Law and Tribal Law regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the law office to strategize case approaches.
  • Manage case files efficiently and maintain accurate documentation throughout the litigation process.
  • Provide clients with clear guidance on their rights and obligations under the law.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation.
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to litigate effectively in court.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate settlements.
  • Tennessee law license is required.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative tasks within a law office setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for case analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and courtroom presentations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
