Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Process commercial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and receipts of expenses from our clients.
- Manager all accounting transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and compiling tax data and financial reports.
- Ability to file sales tax, payroll tax, payroll returns, and process payroll.
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
- Publish financial statements on time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and bank statements.
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the clients’ financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or third year of college degree
- QuickBooks Online experience is a must. The job requires daily use of QuickBooks
- Experience as an Accountant 1 year.
- Able to prepare, review, and understand a financial statement.
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
