What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Manager position at Rock Creek Foundation?
Who We Are
At Rock Creek Foundation, a subsidiary of The Sante Group, we believe that having a disability and/or a mental illness should not prevent anyone from having the opportunity to participate in everyday life. That’s why we have been pioneering the field of behavioral health services for the dually diagnosed. We want to ensure that each person we serve can develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible, in their own communities, and is able to realize his or her potential in ways that they could not do so before. Our committed staff of direct support professionals help drive our mission.
What We're Looking For
Rock Creek Foundation is seeking a mission-driven, strategic, and highly organized Communications Manager to lead our storytelling, digital engagement, and brand presence. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that elevates our mission, engages stakeholders, and strengthens our brand identity. As Communications Manager, you will manage and expand our digital footprint, oversee media relations, maintain brand consistency, and create compelling content across multiple channels. You will collaborate closely with an external marketing consultant—who recently helped refresh our brand—to ensure alignment in messaging, voice, and visuals. Additionally, you will work alongside the Development Manager to support fundraising initiatives and community engagement efforts. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented storyteller who can balance strategy with execution, leveraging digital tools, media relationships, and content marketing to amplify Rock Creek Foundation’s impact. You will report directly to the Chief of Operations.
