What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fleet Manager/Maintenance Assistant. This position will primarily be responsible for managing our fleet of vehicles including scheduling repairs, monitoring vehicle lifespan, tracking mileage, overseeing gas card usage, and maintaining a fleet master list.
Additionally, the role will involve supporting our maintenance team in ensuring the proper upkeep of our facilities, including scheduling repairs, managing snow removal, lawn care, and conducting aging reports on appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule of all vehicle repairs, servicing, and inspections.
- Monitor the lifecycle of vehicles, ensuring timely replacement or upgrades when necessary.
- Track and manage mileage records for accurate reporting and cost analysis.
- Administer and monitor the usage of gas cards for fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Create and maintain a fleet master list, including vehicle details, insurance information, and registration.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all company locations are in good condition and meet safety standards.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks for facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Oversee snow removal operations and coordinate with external contractors as required.
- Arrange for regular lawn care and landscaping services to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Conduct aging reports on appliances and systems, identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate actions.
- Assist the maintenance team with any other tasks related to facility maintenance and repair as needed.
- 1-2 years proven experience in fleet management.
- 1-2 years of proven maintenance coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and excellent record-keeping. Tracking in Excel spreadsheet.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Basic understanding of facility maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An hourly rate range is $20.00-22.00
- Work Shift: Monday- Friday 9-5pm
