What We’re Looking For:
The Affiliated Santé Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Director of Crisis Services to oversee the delivery of high-quality behavioral health crisis services across multiple locations. This leadership role is responsible for managing operations, ensuring program compliance, and driving innovative approaches to crisis intervention and care. The Regional Director will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve service delivery, maintain operational excellence, and align crisis services with organizational goals and community needs.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in behavioral health crisis management, leadership experience in managing multi-site operations, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community. What You’ll Do:
- In conjunction with the CFO/Controller, is responsible for developing/monitoring service budgets and ensuring budgets are met
- Responsible for ensuring that all contract deliverables are met
- Responsible for the development and achievement of annual goals and objectives and service outcomes
- Leads and coordinates service development/expansion activities
- Represents the company in the community and to legislators as needed
- Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, termination and supervision of staff in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Develops and manages staff resources and ensures productivity standards are met
- Responsible for the development and implementation of crisis intervention training, both internal and external
- Provides direction, consultation, and training, to staff to improve individual competencies and service outcomes
- Ensures the timely and complete documentation of services/billing in the ECR per policy and procedures
- Develops, maintains and supports open staff communication consistent with corporate values in order to achieve positive service and administrative outcomes
- Develops all standard operating procedures for departmental programs
- Responsible for the overall supervision for all departmental programs and staff
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as all appropriate federal, state and county regulations
- Conducts and/or delegates regularly scheduled staff meetings to exchange clinical and administrative information; works closely with Central Maryland Call center supervisory staff to ensure an efficient, collaborative working relationship
- Participates in ASG Operations Team
- Acts as the liaison between ASG and departmental funding sources, such as BHA, Local and Regional Health Departments
- Responsible for all marketing and outreach for the department
- Responsible for any communication with attorney’s, media representatives, etc.
- Participates in community boards and committees, as needed
- Responsible for all statistical analysis and reporting for the program
- Responsible for the tracking, maintenance, security and delegation of all departmental equipment and materials
- Responsible for negotiation and upkeep of departmental-specific vendor contracts
- Is on-call to the crisis system
- Checks work e-mail according to agency protocol
- Participates in and completes all required trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages all departmental employees in both Carroll County and Central Maryland sites.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of services.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, accreditation requirements and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, terminating and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What We Require:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study.
- Must possess and maintain current licensure in the State of Maryland (ie: LCSW-c or LCPC). Must be board approved for clinical supervision.
- Previous supervisory experience needed.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee may be required to ride in a vehicle for extended periods of time and walk to wherever is necessary to perform assessment.
As we operate as a 365 day per year service, Directors must be available for day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts, as scheduled. While every effort may be made to create a schedule that meets the individual staff person’s needs, the schedule is created first and foremost to meet the needs of the program.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. This is a fast-paced position with constant activity. The employee must be able to quickly escape from an emergency situation, which may include running, climbing, balancing or crawling. Must have adequate visual acuity to interact with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and accurately input data. Will need to move about up to 75% of work shift either on-site or in the community. Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of work shift.
