Employee Responsibilities:

Talk with customers to provide information about products.

Weekly inventory

Tasked to be done by the end of the shift

Use of Computer Applications | PoS System, Google Docs, Microsoft Office, etc

Upsell products and maintain a daily average

All applicants must be able to commute to one of these addresses, be at least 21 years old, speak fluent English, understand Spanish, and be available to work the AM or PM shifts, respectively.

Applicants with smoke shop experience/and product knowledge or retail or retail management experience of at least 1 year are preferred.

Job Summary

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, including upselling and maintaining an organized sales floor.

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.

Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.

Process transactions accurately using the cash register, including cash handling and credit card processing.

Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to upsell products effectively.

Supervise and train new staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.

Experience in supervising team members is a plus.

Proven sales skills with a focus on upselling techniques.

Bilingual abilities are highly desirable for better customer engagement.

Proficient in cash handling procedures and comfortable operating a cash register.

Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management tasks.

Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
