What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Rock Pros Landscape Supply?
Summary of Position
Sales representatives quote out deliveries and process customers picking up materials and relaying the orders to the loader operators. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service for all customers inside the store and outside, having in-depth knowledge of the industry products and delivery programs. Due to the role of being the first and last contact for customers and team members it is important to be able to communicate effectively with others.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn about the industry.
- Ability to perform basic math and utilize product calculators.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback from peers, supervisors, and customers.
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform cashier duties such as: handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures.
- Support opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing an excellent customer service experience
- Take down delivery information and quote it out according to company policies and procedures
- Use an office phone to call customers for order and payment processing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds
- Ability to use store equipment, including registers, emails, phones, and scanners as required

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
