Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain agronomics spraying equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Calibrate spraying equipment to ensure accurate application rates and coverage.
Perform field scouting to assess conditions and identify pest, weed, and disease pressures.
Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to label instructions and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of application activities, including product usage, field maps, and application rates.
Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities to stay informed about new technologies, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in agronomy, agriculture, or related field preferred.
Previous experience operating agricultural spraying equipment / applying pesticides and fertilizer is highly desirable.
Knowledge of production practices, pest identification, and integrated pest management principles.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
