RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in our coverage area of Rockbridge and Bath County, and the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position.

Position Overview :
The Financial Operations Manager provides oversight and administrative supervision for financial and accounting services. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative supervision to the Financial Technician and the Staff Accountant.
The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of cash receipts, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing and procurement, billing for transportation services, and internal financial reporting. The Financial Operations Manager serves on the RACS Management Team.
The Financial Operations Manager works under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Administration. In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is required to exercise sound judgment; effectively supervise others; demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills; work both independently and as a team member; and maintain confidentiality.
Required Qualifications :
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting or a related field.
- Three years' experience in a business office management position, with preference in a health care or government environment.
- Three years' general account experience.
- Experience in supervision of staff.

Probationary Period :
All persons that are newly hired, rehired, transferred, promoted, or demoted into a Rockbridge Area Community Services position must serve a new 6-month probationary period.
