Position Description:
The Residential (Group Home) Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a group home located in Lexington, Buena Vista or Bath County. This individual will provide staff supervision and leadership in Quality Improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. They will also create, oversee, and monitor treatment plans, programs, and activities within the group homes, taking care of the overall medical and financial well-being of residents. As an on-call manager for each home on a rotating basis, they must be able to function independently with normal supervision, exercise sound judgment, possess excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving, and motivational skills, and maintain professional confidentiality.
Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet QDDP qualifications under DBHDS Office of Licensing guidance, which includes a bachelor's degree in a human services field and at least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Alternatively, candidates may have equivalent experience (five years), knowledge, skills, and abilities that substitute for educational requirements.
