Residential (Group Home) Manager

Position Description : Responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the daily operations and management of a group home (Lexington, Buena Vista or Bath County). Provides staff supervision and leadership in Quality Improvement efforts. Ensures compliance with all standards and regulations. Will create, oversee and monitor the treatment plans, and programs and activities of the group homes. Responsible for the overall medical and financial care of the residents within the group homes. Must be able to function independently with normal supervision; exercise sound judgment; possess excellent skills in conflict resolution, problem solving and motivational techniques. Must observe professional standards of confidentiality. Will serve as on-call Manager for each of the homes on a rotating basis as required.
Qualifications : Minimum Expectations : Must meet QDDP qualifications under DBHDS Office of Licensing guidance (bachelor's degree in a human services field and at least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities) or have equivalent experience (5 years), knowledge, skills, and abilities to substitute for educational requirements.

Salary : $46,000 - $53,000
