Position: Senior Associate – Portfolio Management (Fund)
Position Overview:
Rockbridge makes debt and equity investments in real estate through its various funds, co-investments, and other similar vehicles (“Funds”). Due to the growth of the Rockbridge portfolio and the number of Funds under management, we are seeking a Senior Associate to lead the financial oversight for a subset of the Funds. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management and offers an empowering opportunity for professional development while being an important part of growing the Portfolio Management team at Rockbridge.
The position will be responsible for the oversight of a number of Rockbridge Funds, with particular emphasis on those workstreams which comprise the core of Portfolio Management’s responsibilities including forecasting, liquidity management, debt reporting, and debt covenant compliance. The role involves significant cross-collaboration with other Rockbridge teams and provides in-depth exposure to acquisitions, financings, dispositions, risk management, and capital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight – Day-to-day responsibility for monitoring and oversight of a portfolio of Funds, including forecasting, liquidity management, Fund-level debt, portfolio debt and hedging, debt compliance, and reporting to leadership and investors.
Real Estate Private Equity Modeling – Develop and maintain complex financial models including LP/GP waterfalls to forecast returns and facilitate good decision making.
Transaction Support – Provide analytical support for transactions including formation of new Funds, Fund recapitalizations, and Fund-level debt executions
Job Requirements:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Private equity fund experience or exposure strongly preferred
- Financial modeling experience required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
- 4-year college degree
- Strong work ethic, analytical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
