About The Role
- Receive, sort and deliver various types of mail, including interoffice, regular and trackable mail/packages to insure accurate and timely delivery
- Maintain and operate various types of postage and mail machinery
- Interact with team members throughout the company providing solutions for mail and shipping concerns via iOffice ticketing system, phone, email and face to face
- Tracking of both internal and outgoing packages including label and shipping account creation as requested
- Research and reroute generic addressed packages based on mortgage knowledge
- Contacting logistic vendors to resolve shipping issues
- Record daily mail volumes for tracking purposes
- Pick up departmental outgoing mail at various locations
- Process outgoing team packages as requested by team
- Maintain inventory of mail supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders
- Provide courier services using a fleet of cargo vans for mail pickup and deliveries to/from campus locations
Minimum Qualifications
- Ownership of a valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to multiple sites (approximately within a 70-mile radius from Detroit)
- Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for nine hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience using UPS CampusShip
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Basic knowledge of the loan process
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
