Rocket Media is on the lookout for a Senior Digital Marketing Account Manager who can juggle strategy, relationships, and a little bit of sass—all while keeping our home service clients (think HVAC, plumbing, and security pros) feeling like marketing superheroes.
This role isn’t about taking orders. It’s about leading the charge. You’ll be the go-to person for your clients, helping shape digital strategy, manage big ideas, and make sure everyone (internal team included) is working toward the same big, beautiful goals. You’ll ask the right questions, find the smart answers, and never send a boring recap email again.
If you’re a digital-savvy, people-loving, goal-chasing rockstar who gets giddy about performance data and client “WOOHOO!” moments, we’re ready for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Digital Marketing Strategy: Creates and drives strategic emphasis where none previously existed. Specifically, this position will proactively recommend digital marketing strategies to improve a client’s overall marketing effort across paid, earned, and owned digital media. You should be comfortable creating media strategies from scratch and overseeing all stages of execution. You must be able to talk the talk and walk the walk with digital best practices. While you will not be executing the tactics for our clients, you will be required to package and manage the execution of the strategy. You’ll work closely with different digital departments (Paid Search, Content, SEO, etc.) to achieve our client’s goals.
Consultative Approach: Your expertise extends beyond digital marketing, deeply integrating into our clients' businesses to identify opportunities and address challenges. You possess a comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics, enabling you to navigate complex business issues—from the initial sales process to revenue realization. Additionally, you are confident in challenging clients when necessary, always prioritizing the best interests of both parties.
Client Love & Communication: You’ll be the main point of contact for clients. From kickoffs to check-ins to the occasional “Help, our site is down!” Slack message, you’ll keep the relationship strong, the communication clear, and the GIFs chef’s kiss. This position is the primary communication point for clients and internal staff. This person frequently leads presentations, develops and vets client strategy, writes and manages scopes of work, and owns the day-to-day of the client relationship.
Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our project managers and digital team to make the magic happen. You don’t have to code or design, but you do need to translate vision into action and keep everyone aligned. You will also work directly with product experts; therefore, you will need knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Meta ads, and other platforms.
Opportunity Spotting: You know how to read between the lines and see where we can go bigger. You’ll surface new ideas, pitch fresh campaigns, and even help the sales team with new biz opportunities when the stars align.
Scoping, Planning & Reporting: From timelines and budgets to recaps and results, you’ll make sure everyone knows what’s happening when it’s happening, and what’s working. (Spoiler: You’ll also explain what’s not and what we’re doing about it.) Drafting up a scope-of-work and enthusiastically presenting it for approval is an important aspect of this role.
Business Review & Presentation creation: Are you able to create dynamic presentations from scratch? Can you craft a story using data from multiple channels? We’ll need you to present annual business reviews to key stakeholders, be confident in your delivery, and travel to clients.
