ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Accurately manages till/drawer to be able to reconcile all transactions throughout shift including cash, coupon, credit card and other negotiable items
- Properly operates the POS (Point Of Sale) module in Rec-Trac software
- Participate in cash pickups through the day as needed
- Organizes and maintains a clean work area
- Knowledgeable of all Rockford Park District Policies and is consistent with following through with them in a professional manner
- Communicates daily with guests on a one-to-one basis in a professional, courteous manner providing accurate information regarding facility rates and policies.
- Maintains familiarity with the District's Quality Assurance Statement.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times
- Communicates daily with the Guest Relations Supervisors
- Works unusual hours, including evening private parties, weekends and all holidays in a fast paced atmosphere
- Conducts oneself in a safe manner and adheres to all safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Attends all required trainings and meetings.
- Works as a slide dispatch as scheduled.
- Works as receptionist as scheduled.
- Assists with group admission and cabana escort.
- Understands and has the ability to follow and implement the Rockford Park District's Emergency Response Plan
- Performs all other duties as assigned

- Cash handling experience a plus

- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other district employees.
