What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern position at Rockford Rivets?
The Rockford Rivets are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Ticket Interns for the upcoming 2025 season at Rivets Stadium.
In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the box office, and contributing to the overall fan experience. You will also assist in pre and post-game ballpark cleanup and support various external events.
Ticket Interns are integral to ensuring an exceptional Rockford Rivets fan experience. This unpaid summer internship program runs from mid-May to late August, requiring interns to be available for all home games (36) and any additional events assigned throughout the season.
Ticket interns will report directly to the Sr. Ticket Sales Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Enter data and customer information into the ticketing system / CRM.
- Assist in creating ticket promotions and special events.
- Fulfill ticket orders.
- Print and deliver group tickets.
- Provide general fan assistance and customer service.
- Generate reports to analyze ticket usage and needs.
- Serve as a liaison to all fans.
- Work as game day staff at an information booth.
Required Skills :
- Must be a current college student (undergraduate or graduate).
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong commitment to success.
- Creative thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take direction to complete assigned tasks.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to delegate to customers.
- Knowledge or experience in ticketing is preferred, but not required
