Ticket Sales Manager - Rockford Rivets Baseball Club
The Rockford Rivets are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Ticket Sales Manager for the upcoming season at Rivets Stadium. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the box office, selling tickets, and contributing to the overall fan experience. The Ticket Sales Manager is integral to ensuring an exceptional Rockford Rivets experience. This position is a full-time opportunity with high-growth potential to advance within the organization. It is our goal to provide you with hands-on experience and knowledge useful in competing for jobs in the baseball and sports industry. The Ticket Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Ticket Sales.

About the Team
The Rockford Rivets are members of the Northwoods League, the premier collegiate baseball league in the country. We also have one of the best stadiums in collegiate baseball within a city that has 150,000 residents. Within 30 minutes of the Rivets Stadium, we have over 500,000 people within our ticket sales territory!

Along with new ownership and management we are excited to build one of the best staffs in collegiate summer baseball. This position is full-time and is within the ticket sales department of the Rockford Rivets.

Duties and Essential Functions: (Not limited to)
  • Responsible for developing key relationships with local business leaders looking for opportunities to reward their employees with memorable entertainment at a great value
  • Develop new sales leads and actively canvas the market daily
  • You are not a telemarketer with us.  We want you out meeting people and building relationships throughout the community.  You will be a key player within the organization and building a name for yourself quickly through the industry.
  • Maintain a daily CRM log of all your accounts
  • Provide “Raving Fans Customer Service” to our clients.  
  • Mine your current clients for referrals-We will teach and emphasize this effective way to get ahead
  • Upgrade and upsell. 
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly and yearly goals
  • Collect payments on time
  • All other duties as assigned by Vice President of Ticket Sales and senior management

Qualifications:
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Motivated to achieve personal and team goals
  • Know the value of being a team player
  • Customer Service oriented 
  • Ability to work long hours when needed to achieve goals
  • Passionate about what you are selling
  • Ability to paint a picture for the brand of fun we will be bringing to our fans
 
Compensation 
  • Salary (Commensurate based on experience) Commission
  • Bonuses - based on meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Extensive personalized training in sales, marketing and operations
