Order Picker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Order Picker will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items by cross-referencing with order lists.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse by ensuring that products are stored in their designated locations.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment; certification may be required for certain equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $25.92 - $27.53 per hour
