Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are assembled, fabricated, and packaged according to FDA regulations and CGMP standards. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various hand tools and equipment, including forklifts, in a warehouse environment.
Duties
- Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Fabricate packaging materials as needed for various products.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently during the packaging process.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines throughout all packaging activities.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged goods to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking packaged goods and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
- Understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP practices related to packaging is advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required at hiring (training may be provided).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
