Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Fabricate and build necessary materials as required for warehouse operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems, such as AS400, to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts and reach trucks with a valid certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 is advantageous.
- Ability to fabricate or build materials as needed for operational efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
