Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The Order Picker will play a critical role in ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment based on customer specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety practices in a warehouse setting is a plus.
