Description
Rockhurst University is seeking part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in economics beginning in January 2025. Available courses include International Economics (daytime), Sustainability and Environmental Policy (online), and/or Intermediate Microeconomics (hybrid daytime).
Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct instructors are required to successfully complete onboarding materials, including FERPA and security training. Instructors teaching online courses will be required to participate in peer mentoring to become online teaching certified. Other duties, including assessment, will be assigned as necessary.
Requirements
Candidates must have a graduate degree in economics. Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and names and contact information for three professional references.
