We are seeking an experienced and dedicated team player to oversee the maintenance and operational aspects of two of our five locations. Rockin’ R is looking for a talented Upriver Manager to support choices we use for our clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our labor staff are empowered & expected to deliver the best possible support to our property that supports our clients. Qualified candidates willingly adapt to change in the work environment, advocate for the customer and help maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Time OR Seasonal Managerial Position (May 15th-Labor Day, negotiable beginning and end date if working with a traditional school schedule is necessary)
- Majority of hours are Thursday-Sunday, May 15th-Labor Day
- Oversee River Road location operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and facility upkeep.
- Manage, train, and support the River Road team ensuring high performance (10-12 employees between two locations about a mile apart).
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular safety checks.
- Coordinate deployment of equipment and staff to meet the daily operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and managing stock to prevent shortages.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and duties:
Experience in a management role, preferably in a recreational or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
