We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team!
Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area’s most vulnerable populations.
The organization is looking for a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join the Dental Team Group. The Dental Hygienist is responsible for following all OSHA standards, sterilization of instruments, and the cleaning and routine maintenance of the clinic and equipment. Must maintain accurate dental records, and assist the dentists and dental staff during down times as needed. You will enjoy the benefit of a four (4) day work week, and you will work alongside a great Dental team at the Rocking Horse!
This opportunity has a generous compensation package. You will be offered Medical, Dental & Vision benefits, Company paid life, STD & LTD insurance, a four (4) day work week (Monday thru Thursday), and the potential to earn and accrue up to 4 weeks of PTO per year along with 10 paid holidays. This position may be eligible for loan repayment/ forgiveness and scholarship programs (i.e. Ohio Dentist Loan Repayment Program, National Health Service Corps).
RHCHC is located within walking distance of downtown Springfield OH which offers a wonderful variety of locally owned & operated eateries, bakeries & coffee shops. Springfield is centrally located in between Dayton & Columbus which offers a high quality of life, low cost of living in Southwestern Ohio. Position Info:
Position Title: Dental Hygienist.
Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio (Main Campus - South Limestone Location).
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly position.
Work Hours: Monday thru Thursday – the Dental Office is closed on Friday.
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited hygiene program. Previous dental hygiene experience desired but not required.
Possess a valid Ohio license to practice dental hygiene.
Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and patients.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is required.
