At Rockline, we are embarking on an exciting journey to drive the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Manufacturing Manager to lead our digital manufacturing initiative across seven manufacturing sites. This role is critical to our vision of integrating Manufacturing 4.0 / IoT technologies to improve operational efficiency, product safety, and quality, and enhance our overall competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- MES Implementation : Oversee the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across seven global sites, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
- Project Management : Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to implement the MES and other key digital transformation initiatives.
- Technology Integration : Identify and evaluate digital manufacturing technologies and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, IS, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
- Communication : Frequently and transparently communicate plans, successes, and lessons with manufacturing associates and senior leadership.
- Deployment of Digital Systems : Oversee the deployment of IoT, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics, including predictive maintenance.
- Cybersecurity : Collaborate with Information Services / Technology to maintain diligent cybersecurity to protect operations and assets.
- Continuous Improvement : Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of digital initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Training and Support : Provide training and support to site personnel on digital manufacturing tools and technologies.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in digital manufacturing.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage budgets for digital manufacturing projects, ensuring cost-effective implementation.
- Innovation : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital manufacturing innovation.
